THE ROLE:
The Internal Auditor’s duties will include:
- Conducting comprehensive audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Assessing risks and develop recommendations to mitigate them.
- Preparing detailed audit reports, summarising findings and recommendations.
- Collaborating with management to develop and implement corrective actions.
- Monitoring and following up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Staying up to date with industry regulations and best practices.
- Supporting the development and maintenance of audit procedures and policies.
THE PERSON:
- Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or CISA is preferred.
- Proven experience in auditing, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
