THE COMPANY: Our client is a leading trading company who are seeking a Department General Manager to join their Business Intelligence department on a permanent basis.
THE ROLE:
- Monitor, research and analyse economic and political events and trends, including foreign affairs, within the EU and wider Europe region
- Develop and coordinate an information network with external entities such as universities and governmental institutions and embassies
- Attend external seminars and visit countries throughout Europe and beyond to collect information and extend the company network
- Share intelligence regarding economic and political events
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Business Analyst, managing a team of people, having previously conducted appraisals, managing operational work and budgeting
- Fluent English and Japanese is required
- Significant experience working at a Senior level in a think-tank or research department, in a global industrial or financial institution
- A Master’s Degree or above in Economics or International related field
- Experience writing analytical research reports
- Able to travel regularly and engage with a wide range of business stakeholders
- Exceptional presentation skills
