What you'll be doing:
- Working as part of a team of three to process court manuscripts, handling 10-20 cases per day within litigation.
- Uploading manuscripts to the system, reviewing them, and sending them out to clients involved.
- Mastering the use of industry-specific software.
- Managing audio recordings and synchronising them with transcripts electronically.
- Completing amendments to transcripts, including errata returns, accurately and timely.
- Liaising closely with the other departments.
- Corresponding with solicitors, barristers, judicial clerks, and court reporting teams to circulate transcripts and provide ad hoc support.
- Conducting daily IT communication flight checks with equipment in the hearing room.
- Maintaining quality processes and regularly recording control information accurately.
- Strong administration experience.
- Bright and engaging, with a willingness to learn and use initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to juggle tasks, adapt, and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Team player with a flexible attitude to meet the changing needs of the business and our clients.
- Proven track record in an administrative, client-facing, or professional services role is desirable.
- Full-time, covering the hours between 9am - 8:00pm rotating weekly within the team.
- Working in the office three days per week, except when on late shift and that will be fully remote.
