Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the Middle School, addressing queries and providing information.
  • Assist with diary management, correspondence, and general administration for the Director and Heads of Year.
  • Oversee daily absence reporting and manage uniform loans.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare the GCSE Options booklet, and assist with the Middle School Handbook.
  • Support the organisation of GCSE results days, Year 11 events, and Field Days.
  • Manage online parents’ evenings and update the Dining Hall screen.
  • Handle pupil reports, grade sheets, and detention records.
  • Maintain the Middle School budget and act as the custodian of the Middle School Credit Card.
  • Provide administrative support for various school activities and ensure compliance with school policies.
 
THE PERSON:
  • Education: A good secondary school level education.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of administrative experience, preferably in a school or with children.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications, excellent communication skills, and a welcoming manner.
  • Attributes: Reliable, flexible, and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well with colleagues and enjoy being part of a team.
  • Confidentiality: An understanding of the importance of safeguarding data and maintaining discretion.

This role is supervised by the Director of Middle School and ultimately reports to the Chief Financial Officer. It offers a dynamic and fulfilling environment where your contributions will be valued and impactful.
