THE ROLE:
- Provide guidance, advice, and support to all staff in liaison with the HR Business Partner.
- Ensure HR policies are up to date and aligned with current practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR operational activities.
- Promote diversity and inclusion within the Department.
- Conduct regular reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of HR and JDI initiatives.
- Support recruitment and induction processes.
- Analyse HR and JDI data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide administrative support to various committees within the Department.
- Influence and Impact: Play a pivotal role in shaping HR processes and fostering an inclusive culture within the Department.
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with both clinical and non-clinical academic staff, enhancing your professional network.

- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an academic, NHS Trust, or research environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and JDI principles.
- Experience with recruitment and selection processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
