Professional Practices - Internal Auditor
South West London (remote/hybrid)

Our client is a Professional Body is looking for a Professional Practices - Internal Auditor to support with developments supporting governance, risk management and internal auditing. You will be advising the sector on new practices and providing guidance. You must a qualified internal auditor (CMIIA or CIA). You will be adaptable and organised, with strong business acumen.
 
THE ROLE
  •  Developing and implementing operational plans designed to meet Strategies and Business goals related to role.
  • Writing and commissioning the production and distribution of technical guidance to members in a variety of formats
  • Answering members’ individual technical queries as required. This includes technical Q&A feature for A&R magazine
  • Maintaining high standards of content of technical guidance through the design and implementation of rigorous quality assurance procedures and performance measures
  • Support and inform the syllabi for the qualifications/ certifications/ apprenticeships owned in relation to internal audit knowledge, skills and behaviours.
 
THE PERSON
  • Qualified internal auditor CIA and CMIIA
  • Internal audit experience, ideally 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Drive and motivated, and able to work independently
  • Commercial acumen to deliver financially viable products
  • Experience in the development and delivery of training courses and syllabi
  • Problem solver
  • Understand the importance of education in shaping the lives of people
  • Good IT proficiency
  • Good communication and writing skills
