There’s no doubt that the tube can be hell during peak periods. The stuffy carriages all crammed with people rushing to and from work is never a pleasant experience. Having said that though, there’s a lot to be said for London’s transport system. Pretty much anywhere in the city is easily accessible any time of the day. The tube, buses, and over-ground trains all run a fast efficient service and with Zipcar and Uber now operating in London it’s even easier to get where you want, when you want.  

London is a diverse city with many jobs available in many different sectors. Cost of living is certainly higher here than anywhere else in the country but this can be offset by the higher wages and added benefits.
